Multi-funkcional building

The study of the multi-functional building in Brno solves the new spaces with the residential and administrative function, and a space for the bookshop. The groundplot is situated in the vacant lot on the street Milady Horákové (town district - Zábrdovice). The building is incorporate between the existing residential houses on a flat terrain. The southwest plot boundary is oriented into the courtyard in the direct of the business center IBC. The object has 7 floors and one underground technical floor, where are situated also the underground garages for the flat owners. The bookshop and the entrance into the building are in the first floor. In the second floor there is the office space. The rest of the building has the residential function.

The purpose of the diploma thesis is to design a multi-functional bulding, which fill an empty space on the corner of two streets near the historical city centre of Čáslav. This building has mainly a residential function. Basement will be used for parking and as a place for technical room. Commercial use is forseen for the first floor. Other floors will be set by 18 flats. The main goal is to solve a disposition for given purpose, to choose a right type of structure and work up chosen part of project documentation for building permission. Blueprints will be made in a proper CAD program.

A draft of poly-functional building on Milada Horakova street in Brno Zabrdovice designs a new building with a residential, administrative and social function (coffee bar with gallery). This building is situated in a gap site between two older residential buildings on a flat terrain. The house is designed as an eight-floor building with counter roof and one technical – underground floor. A load-bearing construction consist of a reinforced concrete skeletal system and an inside reinforced concrete hardening core, around staircase that goes through all floors. The passageway connecting a street and an inside court goes through this building and there is also placed an underground system for parking cars.

The construction is incorporated between existing residentianl houses on a flat terrain. The object is divided on two longitudinal tracts. In narrower is placed stairs with lift and sanitary for individual apartments. The wider tract is intended for housing and gallery activity. At ground level is designed as passage serving as pedestrian communication connecting Milady Horákové´s street and courtyard where is existing parking areas and underground garage.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a skyscraper in the Heršpická development location. The proposal is a continuation of the urban study, which was solved as part of the pre-diploma thesis. It is a corner building integrated into an open city block in Bidláky Street. It is a 189 m high landmark that will become part of the city's panorama.
